Vincent: Rise of King Thorne is a game developed by Cloud M1 (who previously developed Ayo The Clown). It was soon ported over to the Factor Dynasty.
Gameplay[]
The player controls Vincent. In Co-op, player 2 can play as Willow. There are several items and power ups in the level, with point and life bonuses earned for collecting all of a certain item in a level.
The game can be played in one of two ways; Arcade and Boss Rush. Arcade works similarly to classic 16-bit games, in which players run through the entire game with a limited amount of continues, which is where experienced players can earn achievements. Boss Rush allows players to play through the games bosses. The game also features unlockable character skins, difficulty levels, online leaderboards and achievements.
Plot[]
A young teenager named Vincent Lepus finds an ancient amulet that transforms him into a rabbit. He soon discovers that he must protect his homeland of Luna Island from a clan of mole-like creatures called the Underdwellers, all led by the evil King Thorne. He soon joined by his sister, Willow, who was also transformed into a rabbit by the amulet, his pet cowardly cat named Brave, and Prof. Nezumimoto, a mouse scientist who's been researching the Eclipse Emerald, an ancient artifact that has the power to topple armies. They also need to deal with King Thorne bumbling henchmen, Runt and West, who can turn into a rat and weasel, respectively. During the journey, Prof. Nezumimoto gets kidnapped and tortured by King Thorne in an attempt to find the Eclipse Emerald.
