Tony Hawk's Skater City is a skateboarding video game developed by Iron Galaxy and published by Activision. It was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on June 12, 2026.
Gameplay[]
Skater City features gameplay that is more reminiscent of earlier Tony Hawk games, especially Pro Skater games, but it uses the same mechanics as its predecessor 1 + 2 & 3 + 4, likewise, it also includes mechanics from all previous games up to Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.
Plot[]
Tony Hawk, one of the best pro skater of all time, creates a new city called: Skater City, a home of pro skaters and newcomers. The reason for this is that the other pro skaters won his challenges and made him more popular. That's why he created a new city for pro skaters, where everything seems to be normal... Until...
The skate gang called "Wreckboarders", led by Toby Eagle, became the worst thread in this city. They are capable of everything, including stealing skateboards from the pro skaters, beating the hell out of the pro skaters, etc.
Meanwhile, a newcomer (male/female) wants to be a pro skater, just like his/her idol, Tony Hawk, so he/she heard about the new city opened by his/her idol (who is the president of Skater City) and he/she decided to move to Skater City, where he/she meets the most popular pro skaters of all time, including Bob Burnquist, Bam Margera, Rob Dyrdek, Danny Way (the vice-president of Skater City) and much more.
He/she meets a gang of pro skaters, that fights against "Wreckboarders" for a better peace and freedom. This gang hates "Wreckboarders", because they always ruin their rigged spots, ruin theier tricks, etc.
