The Brotherhood of Asmodia are one of the eighteen core factions in The Warzone.

Description

"You can't kill the messiah."

-A motto of Kane.

The central tenets of Asmodia's beliefs included the worship of the Asmodians, a race that are located in the darker hemisphere of Gaiaterra and the worship of Kane, Asmodia's charismatic leader from Fódlan, believed to be immortal by many within the Brotherhood. In addtion, the Brotherhood consistently presented itself as the voice of the oppressed masses, and worked to unite the downtrodden and the disenfranchised against the Aion Defense Initiative (ADI), which it painted as a fascist group subservient to the wealthy nations of Zemuria (including their allies that soon to become members of the Guardians of the Tacitus: Andora, Aquila, The Alliance of Hawke, Elsword Empire and the Katsuragis) and global elites and later, the Guardians of the Tacitus organization.

The origin of Asmodia is shrouded in mystery, with the group itself claiming that it existed since in the ancient times, somepoint after Balthazar had murdered Tacitus and was cursed by Elysea. It rose to prominence in 1993 V.C., when they started an revolt that results the take over of Fódlan and then later in 1995 V.C., they launched a series of terrorist attacks all over Zemuria and absorb new species into the Brotherhood with the Vampires, the Blood Elves, Khajits and the Draenei. In response, the government of Zemuria founded the Aion Defense Initiative, a multinational military alliance with the goal of eliminating multinational terrorism and later the Destroyers of Balthazar, after the ADI inducted to the Guardians of the Tacitus organization.

The conflict between Asmodia and the ADI escalated into a war in 2000 V.C., and would later be known as the First ADI-Asmodia War. Though Asmodia was defeated during the First ADI-Asmodia War, it returned time and time again in the decades that followed, leading to new conflicts against the Katsuragi Protectorate in the Katsuragi-Asmodia War, Andora allied with the ADI in the 2nd ADI-Asmodia War and later the Guardians of the Tacitus.

Mechanics

Reinforcement Airstrip

While most factions produces vehicles at field bases with the war factories in early-to-mid game, the Brotherhood's field bases, on the other hand however, import completed units from their Reinforcment Airstrip, which is their receiving area for Tier 0, Tier 1 and some Tier 2 vehicles.

The IL-76 Candid, their delivery aircraft of the Brotherhood, does not land at the field. Instead it slowly flies in at an extremely low altitude and releases the vehicle from the Candid's cargo bay as it passes over the gently inclined runway.

By Tier III and IV, the Brotherhood's field bases will use the Fist of Asmodia as their main means of vehicle production for the rest of the vehicles and later advanced vehicles like the Eclipse.
