Super Smash Bros X CN Punch Time Explosion (大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズ X CNパンチタイムエクスプロージョンDai rantō sumasshuburazāzu X CN panchitaimuekusupurōjon) (pronounced "Super Smash Bros Cross CN Punch Time Explosion") is a upcoming Super Smash Bros. Inferno spin-off and a sequel from Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion: Ultimate, 2.5D crossover fighting game featuring characters from Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. series, and Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Arc System Works, Silversoft Games Studios, Dimps Corporation, Iron Galaxy, Cartoon Network Games, Execraft, ACS Visual Entertainment LLC, and SORA Ltd; It will release on the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam and Nintendo Switch.
After the sequel to Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion: Ultimate, a massive destruction from the 2 between worlds, Cartoon Network world & Super Smash Bros world collide from an evil god named Qibris, the god of battle and smash, and return of Lord Fuse from FusionFall: A Cartoon Network Universe. They will fight between Cartoon Network characters and video game characters, between these Smash Bros & Punch Time Explosion. Eventually around a strange, cubical object that crash-landed on Earth, somewhere in Antarctica. Nobody knows exactly what the object is, where it came from or what purpose it has, only that it appears to release a powerful energy when beings come into conflict around it. As a result, researchers nickname the strange box "Pandora". Several characters from the Super Smash Bros. Inferno and CN Punch Time Explosion: Ultimate universes form teams of two and search for Pandora, each with their own motivations.
