Plutia or Iris Heart is a character from Hyperdimension Neptuna series, she makes her debut on Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory as one of the main protagonists.
Story[]
Hyperdimension Neptuna Victory[]
In the beginning of the third chapter, Noire whines and complains about how Lowee is copying Lastation in terms of tech. This annoys Plutia so much that she gets angry. Histoire points this out to Noire, who was the one who constantly reminds Neptune not to make her angry and realizes she has dug her own grave. She transforms into Iris Heart and demands Neptune and Histoire to leave while she has a "chat" with Noire. After two hours Plutia comes out of the room feeling refreshed. Noire, however, was broken.
Crossover Appearances[]
Project X Zone 3: Sacred Destinies[]
Plutia appears as a Boss Unit and plays a major role in the game's story.
She first appears in Chapter 5: Dance with the Virus, where she was on a mission along with Neptune and Noire but starts feeling strange, her sadistic personality worsens as it takes control of her whole self. Sigma shows up and claims that "that should do it", the CPU goddesses interrogates Sigma about his words, on which he explains about the Sigma Virus and how he wants to spread and make it usefull across the many worlds, and to do that, he is in need to hire mercenaries to help him out sabotaging every area they could find in their trip. Iris Heart, under the control of the Sigma Virus, becomes one of his newest mercenaries, working alongside Jetstream Sam as her partner for most of the story.
In that same chapter, Iris Heart befriends Jack-O' Valentine and easily toys with her by convincing her that Shinra's group is a menace that must be destroyed, just when Reiji and his group tried to help Jack-O' reaching her original destination upon arriving to her own world.
During most of the game, Neptune and Noire with the help of X and Zero attempts to make her regain her memories but the Sigma Virus keep interfering with her restoration.
In Chapter 39: Turnabout Neptunia, Iris Heart is hinted along with Baby Bonnie Hood, Lord Raptor, Metal Face and Sephiroth as the possible culprtips of a massive hack that occurred in the Central City of Planeptune, allowing hordes of enemies to enter non-stop and keeping the rest of the CPUs busy getting rid of them. Upon worryness from Neptune's side, Noire decides that they should to a courtroom session in order to find the real culptrip, for Phoenix Wright's horror, which worsens later on when Baby Bonnie Hood returns with Franziska Von Karma, who was picked by the huntress as the prosecutor of the case, Aigis then request Chizuru Urashima to go with her back to Tatsumi Port Island and take Mitsuru with them so she can take the role of the judge because of her leadership through the missions they had in the past. With the courtroom in session, Mitsuru interrogates the culptrips one-by-one, and when Iris Heart ended her testimony, Phoenix deduces that Iris Heart is, in fact, the responsible for the massive hacking and the damage of many innocents, with Jack-O' asking in horror how she was capable to such betrayal, forcing the CPU goddess to confess and break the friendship she had with the Valentine. When she is defeated, the Sigma Virus starts to weaken on her and consuming her energy, forcing her to ignore her friends' pleas to go back to her senses.
Her last appearance would take place in Chapter 49: Arisu in Dutyland, where the Sigma Virus has worsen as she is now barely fighting to not be consumed by that infection, desperately asking for help for a moment before the Sigma Virus could manipulate her again. When defeated for the last time, X and Neptune manages to snap her back to her senses, albeit completely weakened and unable to stand up, Neptune then request Chizuru Urashima to take Plutia inside of the Dragonturtle Mk.II and put her on a recovering room while they keep trying to take Ouma out and return to Planeptune.

Trivia[]
- Plutia's slippers almost resemble a popular pink bear called "Gloomy Bear" without the blood.
- Like Neptune, Plutia's breasts drastically grows when she transforms. The reason is unknown as to why they share this trait. They also share the trait of their personalities drastically altering whenever they transform into their Goddess forms.
- Plutia uses a doll for her weapon, which she animates with her magic. This is a reference to Pamela Ibis from the Atelier series.
- Plutia calls Neptune "Neppy" and Blanc "Blanny", while she is called "Plutie" by Neptune. Curiously, she consistently calls Nepgear "Neppy. Jr" in either her CPU or human form, whereas she will refer to her other friends by their proper names when she transforms into Iris Heart.
- Plutia is one of only two CPU characters whose attack skills are different between Human and HDD forms, the other being Peashy.
- Plutia is named after a console prototype which has never been released from SEGA called the SEGA Pluto. This system was to be an upgrade to the already released SEGA Saturn which had an internet connection built into the system.
- Despite this though, Plutia is based on the SEGA Mega Drive (Genesis in North America). This is reflected in Iris Heart's design with her choker resembling the top of the system's first model.
- Plutia's sadism is a reference to how aggressive SEGA was to Nintendo after releasing the Genesis.
- In addition, the scene where Iris Heart "plays" with Arfoire is also a nod to SEGA's hostile attitude toward piracy.
- In the anime, Iris Heart uses a Whip Sword, very similar to Ivy's sword from Soul Calibur, as seen in Episode 9 when she prevents Rei from running away. In the game, however, the sword appears to be a regular sword.
- Both she and Syrma from Mugen Souls Z have a similar personality and share the same English voice actor.
- In the Battle, Plutia is useful for INT stats and increasing everyone's INT status.
