Katherine Williams, better known as the Nemesis, is the main antagonist of The Infinity Project: A Need for Speed Game. She is a recurring character that continually stalks the player, who during the journey, acquires the Chronosphere, a powerful device that can slow time around it. She plans to use it to slow down anyone that is in her way of "restructuring" Elysium County to her view that "the county is for everyone, but chaos surrounds it."
In Need for Speed: No Limits
She is introduced as a Flaming Skulls member in the event "Blackridge Royale", a battle royale-style racing event. She is "caught" by the Blackridge PD, only to be revealed later in "Midnight Boulevard" that she is actually an officer of the department.
Between No Limits and The Infinity Project: A Need for Speed Game
After the Organizer Wars, The Infinity Project prompted around 10,000 Blackridge citizens to move to Elysium County. During this, she quit her job, remembering Ivy's words that "she won't be anything soon". She took advantage of this transitional Project to train herself and go alone, giving herself the title, "Nemesis".
