• Metal Slug 8 (Ratbrute), an old game idea created by Ratbrute, the former leader of this wikia before he left
• Metal Slug 8 (AStranger195), a much newer idea from the only currently active sysop AStranger195. While it is missing some parts, such as its plot, its formatting also adheres to Game Ideas Wiki's standards.
• Metal Slug 8 (TheProjectXZoneFan1997), the difference between the previous ones is that some Metal Slug Attack characters has become canon, as well as we have new enemies and a new organization, this is also the first canonical Metal Slug game to feature all PF Squad soldiers in one game.
• Metal Slug 8 (Lord Moogoo), this expands on Metal Slug 7/XX portal idea of different soldiers from different timelines, along with new weapons and characters. Currently, the plot and weapons section are completed.
• Metal Slug 8 (Travis4205) - An idea from the maker of MegaJam Interprises and Wasabi Entertainment (Later renamed ProtoGame Entertainment), it was an old game idea that was made back when The Wrecker Of Villains was his main account before he changed the password and did not memorize, forcing him to use Travis4205 as his normal account, the idea was very unfinished due to Travis' Laziness at the time, he does however, plan to add more details, but many things had prevent him from doing so, such as lack of confidence and knowledge for the Metal Slug Series, being busy with various things (e.g. Scratch and you guessed it, ProtoGame), and so on[1]
