Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order - Legendary Edition is a final update of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 developed by Koei Tecmo's Team Ninja, with Nintendo handles the publishing on Nintendo Switch, while Koei Tecmo handles other console ports that are not Nintendo consoles. It is part of co-trilogy bundle alongside Legendary Editions of Activision Blizzard's first two developed Marvel Ultimate Alliance games.

- Light Normal Updates:
  - Hold Light: Launcher. Jump Cancellable
  - Air Light now does strings of Air Combos. Can cancel to press Air Mobility
  - Characters who utilizes projectile as Light String Combos now hurtable hitstun
- Daredevil can now Swing with his Batons, while Ms. Marvel can now use Glide
- Retain access of Special Moves in the air
  - Some Special Moves for ground characters are Air OK
- When stunned, Boss and Heavier enemy characters becomes judgable into airborne
- Characters who uses projectile as light normal combos can now hit stuns enemies. Hawkeye’s case have charged light normal combos increased hit stuns.
