King of Fighters 2011 is a 3-D Versus Fighting Game by Snk Playmore and Ignition Entertainment. It is the first game in the series to include a new fighting mechanics system, most likely resembling Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. The idea's character designs are drawn by Shinkiro, as it is ingame. The artist uses most illustrations based on Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars.

Gameplay[]

While the game may not match up to previous titles, KOF 2011 takes a step further after King of Fighters XI, but stays behind King of Fighters XII. The game allows you to play on 3-on-3 or 4-on-4 matches, this time using a tag-team motive instead of the original "select the order" tactics. Nothing unsual is about this game, other than its new Tag-team motive in gameplay. You can play up to five modes: Arcade, Versus, Practice, Survival, and Time Attack. The gameplay allows you to use powerful specials known as "Extreme Attack", which allow the player to execute these specials only when your life gauge is down a half. Other than all of that, the game has a Language Menu, which you are allowed to change dialogue in the game to either English, or Japanese.

List of Characters[]

Similar to King of Fighters XII and the Maximum Impact series, King of Fighters 2011 has no perspective or any teams, in the matter possible. The fighters included in XII and King of Fighters XI and Maximum Impact 2 are playable, and there is a sub-boss known as Zetsu you can unlock to play as. There is no boss for the game. The game also features four new characters, one of them being the sub-boss. The complete roster is 33!
