Instead of using assembly structures or slow training with the exception of the commandos and epic units, the Horatio's forces, forges and creates armies in their replicator base and then sends them to the battlefield in groups of units when they are needed. And each increase in the replicator tier also increasing the speed of the replication. An exhaustive list of these groups can be seen here
