Overview

In the the Great Voshkod-Aquilan War, the Voshkods developed several experimental ballistic missile submarines. Ships capable of launching powerful missiles from incredible distances to annihilate targets with barely any chance of retaliation. Unfortunately for the Voshkod, these prototypes were destroyed by the Aquilans and all of the designs and blueprints are sold to their allies. This did not however discourage them from developing the Akula-class, the spiritual successor of these subs, particuraly when Voshkod personnel saw the peformance of the Encantadian Missile Subs, which the Delta-I Missile Submarine being based off.

Though this massive submersible is very slow, it can emerge from the depths to strike at targets anywhere while defending themselves with their Gordost torpedos, making them one of the most feared units in the Voshkod arsenal. Just like Dreadnought's missiles, Akula's projectiles can be shot down with anti-air weapons.

However, one of the engineers could revive the concept of the old Missile Submarine idea from the GVAW era, seeing the effectiveness of the Ybrahim-class Missile Submarines, of which a licensed copy of the GVAW-era Delta I-class Missile Submarine that was sold to their allies in the 1st Encantadia Conflict. Modifying the hull to accomedate the missiles (lore incomplete)

• In Gaiaterra, this is combination of the Red Resurrection Akula and the upcoming new version of the Mental Omega Akula. Though the design resembles a real-world Delta IV sub.
