Mortal Kombat 12 is a fighting game developed by Netherrealm Studios and published by Warner Bros Games. It is a sequel of Mortal Kombat 11 and with a restarted timeline for the series. The game will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC & Steam.
Plot[]
After Liu Kang has finally became the ruler of time, god of thunder and fire, all realms were in peace once again. However, as Liu Kang came back in time where the Grand Kung Lao was still alive and where the tournament hasn't harmed earth yet, some returned characters can come back as their ancestors, as others aren't born yet on that time. Liu Kang along with Grand Kung Lao and his other allies will train hard to win the first Mortal Kombat tournament according to the new timeline.

- Karter Stryker: Also named as Tharril, he's a half-in kuei, half demi-god young adult raised as a normal boy and has been adopted by the ancestor of Stryker, resulting Karter to be the father of Curtis Stryker in the future. So he could secretly replace his wife's died unborn son and to save her from having a permanent trauma. His real mother is nothing other that Cetrion, who has procreated a son and pretended her own death in order to make his son inherit Shinnok's throne of evil in case both got exiled.
- Rage Karter: When Quan Chi activates a magical tattoo made in his right tarkatanian arm, he invokes a malevolent spirit who possesses Karter Stryker to become his evil self. He also then proclames as the spirit of the ancestor of Skarlett.
