Fighter's Island 2 is a crossover fighting game that runs on the MUGEN engine and the sequel to the popular game Fighter's Island.
Summary[]
Along with the addition of new characters, many characters from the previous game return (with the exception of the two boss characters and NES Mario). It still features the 1-on-1 fighting, but a new tournament mode, where fighters compete in a new tournament setting, is also available. Sadly, it will replace the 2-on-2 endurance matches.
Game Modes[]
This game has two main single player experiences: The traditional arcade mode and the all new Tournament mode. In the latter, a selected character goes through four matches fighting teams of three randomly selected characters in which you only need to defeat at least two to advance. When all four teams are defeated, the player faces a special opponent (Dr. Doom). Once that foe is defeated, the player must fight Ryu. Afterwards, the player is introduced to Mewtwo, the benefactor. After fighting his two bodyguards (M.O.D.O.K. and Juri), you must defeat Mewtwo himself.
There is also a versus mode for two players and a practice mode.
