Fight Fever: Re-Stoked is a remake version of Viccom's first fight game "Fight Fever". This remake is developed and published by MAVi Productions in memory of Viccom.

Gameplay and Adjustments[]

Gameplay[]

The gameplay is drastically reworked for the remake. It now has a mix of gameplay systems in Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves and Street Fighter 6. The game has a special bar that's selectable for any parts of the character's life bar, called "Skill Stoker". This bar functions in two ways: First way is based on the COTW's S.P.G. ("T.O.P." in Garou: MOTW), it allows the players to perform a much powerful attack, allowing their healths to regenerate slowly. The second way is based on Drive Reversal in SF6, a counterattack when blocking their rival's attack in time. These function ways are respectively called "Strike Stoker" and "Defense Stoker". Along with Danger Move (now renamed as "Stoke Move"), "Art Of Stoking", a new super art, can only be used when the player's lifebar is at "Skill Stoker" and the power bar is full.

Adjustments[]

  • The in-game graphic is now rendered in 3D with cel-shaded graphics. The cel-shaded graphic choice is inspired by Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and the US comic books.
  • Each characters have their own stories, now rendered with in-game cutscenes (like how the Metal Gear Solid series did).
  • The remake has two different control styles with modifications on the directional inputs: Classic with easier directional inputs, and the new control style called “Player-Friendly” (Fight Fever’s take on SF6’s Modern Controls and Fatal Fury: COTW’s “Smart Style”).
