Halcyon is an post-war autonomous city located on the border between North and South California, on the Pacific coast of North America and the main major city in Fallout: The Traveler. It is considered the most safest place and the most populated city in the Wasteland, more larger than New Vegas despite the corruption, organized crime, gang violence within their districts and turmoil from fourteen organizations outside of the city and the wasteland. Under control of the organization, known as The Board and their army of own soldiers and the Six Companies.

Overview[]

The city itself operates as a city-state, officially owning the title of Free City, with the Board itself keeping a heavy influence over it. The city itself is considered a thrilling, safe and exciting location to visit, as well as an interesting and vibrant place to live for those of means living outside of the settlements found in the Wasteland and other cities that are under control by rivalling organizations i.e New Vegas of the Mojave Desert under NCR control.

History[]

The origin of this city began in 2200 when a group of ex-Vault City, Ex-Enclave and Vault-Tec personnel (the main founders of the Board) who made this bustling post-war city via the use of a highly special GECK that is much more advanced than the GECKs from other Vaults.

Halcyon and Celestia[]

Although a lot of people said that Halcyon is the main New World city, some Wastelanders believe that there is one city that was built, way before Halcyon was even exist.

Nobody truly knows how Celestia came to be outside of rumours other than that being the original creator of the Paimon Pip and their founder, Elizabeth Faraday. Some say Celestia was to be a luxurious paradise for the 1%, other said it was meant to be an ark to save the bestest and brightest minds from the nuclear exchange. But whatever its origins were, it is known that Celestia bears the greatest technologies America made, all the fruits of the Big MT's various research and tests, and was said to be able to house millions within a luxurious city where they are cared and tended to by the most advance droids and holograms.
