Prologue[]
Damien Close is up to his old tricks again, then again, he's something that would never stop on accomplishing his one dastardly goal: To unleash eternal chaos to all corners of existence. This time, he decides on creating a giant, otherworldy, dimension manipulating monstrosity of a machine in order to cause more chaos, when he activates it, it results in three separate multiverses in being absorbed and colliding with one another, much to his satisfaction. After that happened, a few villainous individuals from those three multiverses appear before him and together they form teeth-clenched alliance united in the goal of causing more mayhem.
However, it would soon appear that the machine Damien Close created turned out to do a little too well, as something created by the machine started to become born, a creature that threatens the existence of the three multiverses. So it is up to the numerous characters from the three multiverses to put a stop to it before it is too late.

Gameplay[]
The gameplay in Dimension Bellum: Chaos of Three Worlds will have a very familiar style for those who have played Team Clarent Project's fighting crossover, Chaos Clash: Project Xtreme Arena. During battle, players can attack with their characters with a selection of five buttons to use with: Light Attack, Middle Attack, Heavy Attack, Kick Attack and a Charge Attack. All playable characters also possess a special case of command attacks called Unique Attacks, Special Moves and Super Drives. Also during battles that have 3 vs 3 team battles, players can execute Team Strikes which involve all 3 members of the teams to attack with a Super Drive at once.
All 48 playable characters have an ability called the Bellum Rage, which boost their strength, speed and endurance for a period of time. Some of the characters gain a unique appearance when their Bellum Rage is activated, for example: Siegmar Azurmann appears in his Fallen One Monstrum state, Nate Edwards appearance becomes slightly more demonic, Enkohime gains new tails, Balder Bryant revealing his 'hidden power' and Hikari Katsuragi appearing in her Goddess Athena form, eventually when the Bellum Rage activation time runs out, they will all revert to their original selves.

Like Alexa, Risa mixes her fire-controlling skills with hand-to-hand combat, mainly a fighting style she calls "Himawari-ryuu" which she learned from fighting games. |
Dawn (Game debut: Crisis Moon II: The Hollow Eclipse) Dawn is Twilight's twin brother and the other half of the catalysts of Lilith. He and Twilight used to be the bestest of siblings, with Dawn harboring a hidden romantic crush on her, until Twilight derided her vampire blood and ran away from the Vampire Mansion, which turned Dawn's simple incestuous crush into a full blown obsession, and went to extremes just to find and kill her. Dawn, at first, appears kind and innocuous, but he is actually an immoral and cruel individual who also exhibits erratic, obsessive behavior when around Twilight. After learning the Himezawa telekinesis technique, he decided to utilize his sewing skills, combined it with his newfound telekinesis, and used it to kill and to satiate his bloodlust |
Aris (Game debut: Fight or Die) Aris is a young man who serves as the current head of the Creed. He is actually Yuko's younger brother Yuji, who was kidnapped by the Creed and brainwashed in order to serves as their new leader after their founder died. Aris is a ruthless and malevolent ruler, who does his all so that everything is within his expectations. However, certain traces of his past as Yuji, such as his favorite food (taiyaki) and his bond with Yuko, remain within him. Aris fights with manipulating vectors using the power of Materia. |
Count Godfried Dominus (Game debut: Crisis Moon: The Bloody Symphony) Count Godfried is the current Dominus of the vampire race. He seeks to awaken Lilith to erase the Earth of all humanity and create a new world where vampires can live in their own free will, and have no natural enemies of their own. Godfried is aristocratic and manipulative, and obsesses with the blood of humans. Godfried fights by manipulating the blood he has collected in the Blood Sphere and freezing it to create weapons or large pillars that he can use to slay his opponent. |
Kira Kamiya (Game debut: Crisis Moon II: The Hollow Eclipse; as hidden boss/Crisis Moon III; playable) Kira Kamiya is a version of Kiyo Kamiya from an alternate future. He was found by Dominus after travelling to the second realm, where the Resurrection was never conceived. This Kiyo gave in to the dark world of assassins and used his Eyes of Future Death for harm instead of for good, without realizing it. Kira is far more cunning and cruel than the Kiyo from the main realm. Kira fights with an identical style to Kiyo, but with different weapons: his katana was not the Satsugai-she, but was instead a regular metal-bladed katana that he got from the Yakuza boss as a reward, and his knife is a combat knife as opposed to a kitchen knife. |
Reika Hibari (DLC) (Game Debut: Combat Angels: Summon of Gods) Reika Hibari is a fellow junior high student of Hikari who serves as the reincarnation of the Greek goddess of the hearth, Hestia. One day, while having a race with her friendly rival Hikari during their Sports Day, she saw strange visions of Hestia, which distracted her and caused her team to lose the race. Since then, Reika has been searching for an explanation for these visions. As Reika, she is usually determined and strong-willed, but as the goddess Hestia, her personality changes to a more calm, collected, and serious demeanor. She shares a similar fighting style to Hikari's, but mixes it up with a few moves of her own. |
Azh (DLC) (Game Debut: Code Chronos) Azh was the leader of the failed Chronos project. He decided to sabotage the Chronos project in order to find a timeline where his deceased wife Mina was never killed, but in the end, it cause the space-time continuum to rearrange, resulting in the current state of the world. Azh seems calm and calculated at first, but when in a fight, he exhibits a sadomasochistic side of him. He fight with a pair of robotic arms after his own arms got cut off by Kain during their first encounter. |

Trivia[]
- Dimension Bellum: Chaos of Three Worlds is the second game that has involved franchises from Team Clarent Project, In-Verse and ACS Softworks, but the first game that only involves all three companies.
- The word 'Bellum' in the title is Roman Latin for 'battle' or 'war'.
- Many characters in the game leave many implicative hints of knowing each other on a personal basis despite being from separate universes, though this may be due to them having met in the previous crossover Cross Code-X2: Project Unlimited Versus Battle. For examples; Vanessa Luxaloss from In-Verse's The Adventures of Vanessa and Tristan Newbury from Team Clarent Project's Lilim know each other, commenting and nervously joking about the insane physical strength of Tristan's homunculus wife Augusta and her passion for pro-wrestling. The vampire brother of Twilight, Dawn, and the demon lord Ninus also know one another. Juno Hawkins is also another unfortunate victim of Astolpho Le Chariot's many exaggerated pranks which had her put up at wanted poster of him with the name 'Alp' on it.
