Dengeki Bunko: Mark X is the sequel of Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition, after Dengeki Bunko merged with Cartoon Network, Houbunsha Manga Time Kirara, Toei Tokusatsu shows, and Dengeki Comics.
This game's soundtrack is "Alligator" by Monsta X in Japanese version for quick duel soundtrack, "Question of Honour" by Sarah Brightman for menu soundtrack, and "Bon Appétit♡S" by Blend A is for energy store soundtrack.
This game was launched in summer 2021. Before this game launched, this pre-launched campaign has a codename, "X-Duel", and the slogan is, "X-Duel. It's a ultimate duel fighting game that makes you heart racing. Answer on summer 2021. Can your imagination exceed me?"
Next year in 2022, next sequel was launched as for collaboration with Dengeki Bunko's rival, MF Bunko J, named Dengeki Bunko vs. MF Bunko J: Mark X ZiO.
The catchprase for the game is, "Lead the Mark. Follow the Mark. With your soul, I am complete."
