Deflecto is a 2D game made in 2021 where you play as a character named Bonko. The game is available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PS5, PSP, Steam, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch. This page is a W.I.P at the moment.
Gameplay[]
The Basics[]
You can jump on ground and walls, you can use a shield with special abilities that you can buy. There are different abilities for shields and worlds to travel, each world has 16 levels where you do some kind of puzzle-parkour like gameplay with enemies, there may be minibosses in 1-3 levels and at the 16th level, there will be a boss/bosses. There are 10 Maps, which are:
- World I - City
- World II - Forest
- World III - Volcano
- World IV - Glacier
- World V - Cave
- World VI - Bunker
- World VII - Ruins
- World VIII - Sky
- World IX - Fortress
- World X - End
To solve it, you need to use switches and make traps be used without dying, you only have 1 life but have a shield, the default shield can last up to 2 seconds with a 1-second cooldown so you must use them tactifully. The basics can also be taught in the prologue and after you beat the boss you can go off to the epilouge
Story[]
Bonko is a basic civilian but on the streets, some hooded men grab him and knock Bonko out by slamming his face on a wall, he wakes up in a "Hospital" where he gets injected with something painful before they put powder which submerged into his body due to how cold it is. Bonko screams in pain and then they knock him out again with strange fluids. He wakes up in a camp where he goes to train to become a soldier, he is given the recruit clothes and is with many other people, they seem to be underground, he is put through many trials and wants to escape, when he finally got the chance (in a sky training mission), he flies down and drops down to the city. In pain, he runs to his house and lies down, changing his appearance
1 Year Later...
Bonko goes back to normal but when he is spotted, he has now to escape at the dominated ends of the place.
World I[]
Bonko goes across these areas and encounters some recruits and even some soldiers, he eventually goes into a giant supermarket where he encounters Elite Officer Clango, a Assasin Robot sent to kill Bonko, this boss attacks him and then turns the place into a big arena, this is somewhat of a tutorial boss but requires work. After you beat them, you run into a forest where some people chase you but they set traps to purposefully get you.
