A ninja whom Hayabusa met and ended the Dark Dragon incident, Yakumo, the Raven Clan ninja and Dark Dragon descendant is briefly scene as a non-speaking cameo.
Elsewhere, Aogane meet up with a hooded girl resembling Kasumi, but red eyes as Ayane and Honoka, and short black hair. The hooded black haired-red eyed Kasumi look-alike is revealed to be formerly the original Phase 4 clone, a same girl whom scarred Bayman when she mistook him for one of the M.I.S.T. agents sent to pursue her, and currently on the run from M.I.S.T.. Since changing her looks, the original Phase 4 goes by a different alias and gain red electrical power. The former original Phase 4 clone is in debt how she and Lionel met in person (which would be explained in Dead or Alive 7 prologue) at the same day where they gained their own electrical powers. The pair, then goes on journey to an unknown, riding a Transformer-motorcycle-like robot companion called "S.C.A.N.N.E.R.", with Lionel serves as a rider.Elsewhere at one of M.I.S.T.'s lab, NiCO is seen in her private lab to prepare Project "Night Fall", which can also serve as a final phase to resurrect her father. Suddenly, upon noticing Lionel and a former Phase 4 riding S.C.A.N.N.E.R., the camera angle focus on NiCO's mouth where she gives a disturbing grin as she aims on Lionel's face, then cut to blank screen where she speaks a disturbing line "Found you.", hinting her exact relation with Lionel.
