Chou Super Robot Wars U (超スーパーロボット大戦U Chō Supā Robotto Taisen U, Ultra Super Robot Wars U) is a crossover mecha tactical role-playing/fighting game co-developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Compile Heart, and B.B. Studio. It was released on October 14, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows, the game serves as a crossover between the 2 crossover games, the game's events are linked and a sequel to Shin Mugen 2: Infinite Worlds Crisis.
The U the title stands for Ultimatum (アルティメイタム, Arutimeitamu).
A sequel called Super Hero Operations Z was released worldwide for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.
Gameplay[]
Like Chou Super Robot Wars Æ and the previous titles of the series, Chou Super Robot Wars U is a tactical RPG game with story elements and utilizes the same graphics engine seen in 3rd Super Robot Wars Z, Super Robot Wars V & Super Robot Wars X.
It adapts many same elements of combat and gameplay from 3rd Super Robot Wars Z and 3rd Super Robot Wars Alpha: To the End of the Galaxy, such as attack bonuses, squads composing of a maximum of four units, team attacks and combination attacks.
Player and enemy units are divided into seven classifications with different functions and stats: Super Robots, Real Robots, Power Armors, Giant Heroes, Kaijus, Vehicles and Battleships.

Summary[]
2 months after the events of Shin Mugen 2: Infinite Worlds Crisis, various worlds across the Multiverse are saved by the two heroes, Takeshi and Yurina,
Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, along with his comrades who were scattered across the galaxy seeking for a new planet, visit Earth… along with a wandering seemingly-almighty source of power called the AllSpark.
Meanwhile, in the Land of Light, the Father of Ultra concerns about the situation of what's happening with the Multiverse before and understands that the problem is probably the gravest and most dangerous anyone will ever face, so he sends his sons Taro and Leo, as well Seven, Astra and 80, to summon a grand alliance of heroes from any world.
After some time, a grand alliance of good is formed from the heroes of ten Earths:

- Earth-6C7G (Cosmic Era Earth);
- Earth-A509 (Anno Domini Earth);
- Earth-9909 (After Colony Earth);

Time begins to run out for the Earths in both the past and the future while in the present, the Father of Ultra tells the heroes of his plan to halt the approaching antimatter waves by transporting them to various times in various Earths where they help the Ultras build Time-Space Towers by harnessing the power and technology of the AllSpark that are to be activated to save reality.

- Takeshi Kujo - One of the two Super Robot protagonist, he is one of the Master of Antics and he is a skilled Swordman. He was previously one of the two main protagonists of Shin Mugen and Shin Mugen 2: Infinite Worlds Crisis. He possesses the Super Hero Robot Striker Manus (ストライカー マヌス, Sutoraikā manusu) a Optimus Prime-motif machine which created by Hermann Fegelein using Optimus Prime's DNA.
- Yurina Kiryu - One of the two Super Robot protagonist, she is one of the Master of Antics and she is a skilled fighter. She was previously one of the two main protagonists of Shin Mugen and Shin Mugen 2: Infinite Worlds Crisis. Like Takeshi, she is also possesses the Super Hero Robot Buster Skywing (バスター・スカイウィング, Basutā sukaiu~ingu) a Jetfire-motif machine which created by Hermann Fegelein using Jetfire's DNA.
- Hermann Fegelein- the order's most famous member of the Antic Order who pulls off his antics on Adolf, he is chosen as the herald of Vulcan (バルカン, Barukan).
