Cars 2: The Video Game Deluxe is an enhanced and updated port of Cars 2: The Video Game and was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia and PC (mainly with Steam). It was developed by Disney, Pixar, WB Games, and Avalanche Software. It has been released on July 5, 2022.
The shop returns with new Spy Miles as currency and spy points were renamed to C.H.R.O.M.E. Lifetime Miles.
Lots of new Characters (Both from the original games from the THQ Trilogy as well some new ones) and Tracks.
All DLC Characters from the vanilla game are unlockable, except for Flo.
Tokyo, Airport, Italy, London, and Radiator Springs race music use their Driven to Win ones, while the Oil Rig ones uses something different, same with the intro.
Fillmore and Guido are starter characters.
Has a new seventh clearance level.
Radiator Lightning renamed Crusin' Lightning.
Cheat codes are now permanent.
The Queen is now playable in every mode.
C.H.R.O.M.E. Missions now use stars rather than trophies. The way of earning them is similar to Driven to Win's way of earning them. Once when a star is earned, C.H.R.O.M.E. Lifetime Miles and Spy Miles will still be earned.
Art of Sally, Flo, Ramone, Sheriff, Lizzie, Mack and Rod Redline are on the loading screen.
New tracks were added, the first two are Paris and Germany (from the DS and 3DS ports of the OG game), and the last one is the Piston Cup (Florida from Driven to Win).
PC Version no longer randomly crashes
The World of Cars Online is removed and replaced with online play.
Features a brand new unlockable difficulty named expert, the way of unlocking it is completing Clearance Level 6 with 3 stars.
It uses the WB Games logo and the current Disney Games logo, since Disney Interactive shut down.
All versions of it have the same graphics as the PS3 and 360 versions of the vanilla game.
Chick Hicks has more voice clips. One of them is when you select him on the CSS and another is when you are on a cliff about to fall, they are "This one is all mine." and "Call my lawyer, and a tow truck!"
Owen Wilson returns as Lightning McQueen and Keith Ferguson's voice clips for the OG game were re-enacted by Wilson.
New weapons were added, mostly ones from Driven to Win and one new PC exclusive weapon.
Two new trophies was added.
New modes were added as well, featuring two new modes from PSP port of the OG game, and two more from Driven to Win.
Cutscenes were changed.
Victor Hugo replaces the green Hugo in the Tokyo Arena Hunter cutscene.
Sally in intro and ending cutscene
Victor Hugo and Tubbs Pacer replace the green Hugo and the yellow Trunkov in the Costal Invasion cutscene.
A lot of bug fixes gameplay balances.

A satellite laser that can be fired towards an opponent to blow them up.

Makes the user go very fast.
Energy Leech
An electric charge that bounces around, but soon stops snd remains in place. It spins out any car that touches it.

Makes agents spin out and control wonky.
High Level Weapon
An electric charge that generates on the roof of the player using a Van-de-Graaf-like apparatus which remotely delivers the shock to all opponents.
