Burst Battlers (バーストバターズ) is an action-adventure role-playing game developed and published by Burst Arts featuring characters from their various video game series in celebration of the company's 40th anniversary. The game iis available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Windows and was released on on July 25, 2022.

Burst Battlers is a action-adventure RPG with an open world game style where the player can travel around the entire Earth. The player creates their own custom character and grant them a weapon-based class (Grappler, Blader, Gunner, Mage, Heavyweight, and Reaper). They have access to two types of areas: town areas, where they can interact with several NPCs and shop for gear and items, and field areas, where much of the combat takes place. You can gain access to these areas via a Porter Machine (a teleportation machine from the Rizer series).
The battle system features a team of three characters that consists of the player’s custom character and two other characters of their choosing against hordes of foes. Weapons give the player access to the Special Skill feature which allows them to perform a special move. If a party lands a large combo against an enemy with one of those hits being a normal attack, the victim becomes vulnerable to an enhanced type of Special Skill called "Burst Breaker" upon the landing of the regular attack. Burst Breakers deal twice the damage of a Special Skill. give an experience point bonus, and fill the player party's Morale gauge, which allows the party to use a combination attack.
There will be two types of boss battles:
- Normal Boss Battles: A regular sized boss that will be more powerful than the average enemy. Sometimes they will have unique buffs to make them more challenging.
- Giant Boss Battles: Giant sized foes that will be more powerful than normal bosses and enemies, which will have high defense and immunity to status ailments

Special Events[]
These are events outside of the game's main story where the player can obtain unique characters and items from. These events are obtained from DLC and Updates.
Shopping[]
By completing battles, players can earn a type of in-game currency referred to as B-Bits. B-Bits can be used to purchase a variety of new content, including alternate designs for certain characters and gear for the custom character. B-Bits are earned at the end of any fight, regardless of whether the player wins or loses. More B-Bits are earned depending on how they perform in combat, with bonuses earned for a victory.
Story[]
After wormholes open up and devour the multiverse, heroes from the many destroyed worlds find themselves trapped in a new land made up of shattered pieces of their homelands fused into our Earth; those who manage to wholly appear after this event became known as Burst Heroes, as they successfully Burst between universes. This fracturing event causes the universe to be split across four dimensions - Dimension Diamond, Dimension Heart, Dimension Clover, and Dimension Spade - none of which are able to connect with the other dimensions. Additionally a group of shapeshifting creatures, Phantoms, have also made themselves known to the Burst Heroes, possessing gems of energy that possess the souls of some unfortunate individuals who have lost their physical forms.
The game is split up across five stories, dubbed "Arcs": Diamond Arc, Heart Arc, Clover Arc, Spade Arc, and Stars Arc. The first four stories run concurrently, telling the events that transpire in each of the four dimensions. The fifth, unlocked after the other four have been cleared, concludes the story as the dimensions become linked, allowing all of the Burst Heroes to work together for the first time to combat the threat of the Phantoms.
