The Zaibatsu Teikoku is one of the bonus factions in Artistic Forces.

Name

The name of this faction is made up of two Japanese words: Zaibatsu and Teikoku. In Japanese etymology and terminology, Zaibatsu (Kanji: 財閥), which translates to "financial clique", is a term that definitely refers to industrial and financial business conglomerates in the Empire of Japan, a historical nation-state in East Asia, and majorly controls influence over diverse, significant sectors of the Japanese economy from the Meiji Era to the conclusion of World War II. Most of Zaibatsu companies were clan/family-owned before some of them were became the group-run keiretsu, excluding those that were dissolved when WWII came to an end, such as the Nakajima Aircraft Company. Teikoku (Kanji: 帝国) is a Japanese term for Empire, making this faction a major influence of the Empire of Japan or Dai Nippon Teikoku (lit. Great Japan Empire) due to their imperial ideology that controls economically and politically.

  • This downloadable faction adds to the Shonen Forces, a new group of factions.
• Like the Kyoudai Gundan, the gender-swapped counterpart of Josei Guntai, the Zaibatsu Teikoku is the gender-bent version of Yami Musume.
• The Zaibatsu Teikoku is one of the few factions in Artistic Forces that keeps its original Japanese name untranslated, the other ones are Josei Guntai, Kemonomimi, Yami Musume, and Kaijin Gundan, with the next one being Kyoudai Gundan.
