The Royal Canadian Federal Force is one of the DLC factions in Artistic Forces.
Description[]

The RCFF, consisting of true Canadians that are all loyal to their country (like the ADA, consisting of true Americans), and the elemental branches of the Canadian Armed Forces from land to sea, including air force, is the conventional and modern military and civil force of the one and only constitutional and federal monarchy in North America known as Canada. Prior to their country's confederation in 1867, its roots traced back in the Militia Act of 1855 when the Permanent Active Militia was formed in their territory under British colonial rule along with French colonists. Today it considerably became a modern military and civil force with large reserves, including Canadian loyalists who are both Anglophones and Francophones, with those from Quebec. Unlike the all-American ADA, backed by their neighbor country known as the United States of America, they completely scorn the possession of nuclear weapons along with biological and chemical weapons as threats to their country when signed and ratified the three treaties to disarm and ban all of these three kinds of massively destructive weapons from the late 20th century onwards. But instead, they have utilized their defensive and close-combat tactics with the possession of conventional military weapons, including cryokinetic and energy weapons.
Their national flag origin stems from a 1964 committee tasked to create a new Canadian flag, and the current in use is credited to George Stanley, who based his design off the Royal Military College of Canada. The red and white colors comes from the Royal Arms Of Canada (derived from Saint George's Cross, the Flag of England, who Canada still owes allegiance to as part of the Commonwealth under the British rule) while the Maple Leaf stems from coats of arms from the 1800's, which is known as the Red Ensign.

Strategy[]
The RCFF is an all-Canadian faction with the heavy focus and emphasis on ferocious combat.
Tactics[]
The RCFF is well known for excessively emphasizing and utilizing ferocious close-quarters combat, cold-weather warfare, defensive tactics, frontal and aggressive assaults, cryokinetic weaponry, long-range strikes, NBC-resistant technology, and expeditionary warfare with technological advantages and their direct support by their air force and navy just like the ADA Marines. Due to their lack of air defense, they use the exports of European and American military assets, such as the German Flakpanzer Gepards, the British Starstreak man-portable air defense systems, and the ones that are donated to Ukraine in their efforts to thwart off the Russian invaders, including foreign prototypes.
Technological level[]
Like the US-backed ADA, the technological level of the RCFF is expressively high due to the military technologies they used.
Veterancy ranks[]
The following rankings of the RCFF below are based on those of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Veterancy rank | Army rank | Navy rank | Air Force rank |
---|---|---|---|
None | Private | Sailor | Aviator |
Veteran | Corporal | Petty Officer | Sergeant |
Elite | Sergeant | Adjutant | Adjutant |
Epic | Lieutenant/Captain | Lieutenant | Lieutenant/Captain |
Heroic | Major/Colonel | Lieutenant Commander/Captain | Major/Colonel |
Sub-factions[]
The RCFF has only two sub-factions: the ferocious Canadian Assault Expedition, and one that focuses on winter warfare.
Canadian Assault Expedition[]
The Canadian Assault Expedition (CAE), remembering their nation's reputation in WW1, trades most of the RCFF defensive equipment and artillery for stronger, close-ranged, weaponry, favoring aggressive, CQC assaults support by their air force.
Cold Legion[]
The Canadian counterpart of the CCS's Siberian Division, the Cold Legion involves various cold-weather operations with the use of cryokinetic weaponry that freezes enemies in their path. Unlike the Siberian Division, all infantry and vehicles of this sub-faction are automatically camouflaged in white, and stealth detection range to find them are reduced when either not attacking or moving through snow terrain.

Trivia[]
- The RCFF is, without the doubt, the first of the eleven DLC factions for Artistic Forces.
- The RCFF is also the Canadian counterpart of the US-backed ADA as their accent differs to the American one, especially their factional tactics and features.
- All of the RCFF units, including its members and the announcer himself, are to be voiced by Canadian voice actors like Brian Dobson as a prime example instead of Americans as they opposed to their different but comparable accents. Their Canadian accent will also add Canadian slang words like "hoser".
- This downloadable faction adds to a group of the Western World factions known as the Western Kingdoms.
- For this faction, Canada really needs more anti-air defense as their country grows at risk without ground-based air defense in real life.[references 1]
- In an early draft of the development of Artistic Forces, the State Defense Alliance (SDA) is originally a NATO-influenced faction, but has later been changed into an American faction as its proper replacement due to the fact that their units and weapons are based on real-world modern and experimental military assets of the United States Armed Forces, including some American technological inventions. However, the previous name of the abbreviation known as the SDA is vulnerably obstructive by inserting Canada as a sub-faction called the Canadian Assault Expedition (CAE), which obviously did not fit to the American-themed faction and is not allowed to enter because of prohibiting the use of nuclear weapons by the ratification of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) since Canada has withdrawn the nuclear weapons from its storehouses in 1984 as it would later become the all-American faction, and Axl Jet Baños, the lead creator and manager of this project, was so mad at Ssbob90's idiotic contribution due to the national and cultural differences between America and Canada. So he decided to take Canada away from the rest of the SDA, renamed it to the American Defense Alliance (ADA) to truly make itself more American (not North American), and correctly transferred to the Royal Canadian Federal Force (RCFF) as a separate faction, with Canadian Assault Expedition (CAE) being one of the two sub-factions. Also, French is one of Canada's two official languages after English due to the likes of Quebec and other Francophone minorities within the country, and Canada is simply governed by the federal parliamentary constitutional monarchy. So these changes will importantly prevent him from being angry because of adding Canada to the ADA.
- Because of these important changes, Canada has no weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear weapons, in stock weapon storehouses ever since their country has entirely disarmed and banned those weapons starting in 1970, a year where the complete ban of all nuclear weapons was signed and ratified to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and then it no longer hosts these weapons by 1984. After that, it was followed by the disarmament of biological and chemical weapons via the ratification of the Biological Weapons Convention on September 18, 1972, and Chemical Weapons Convention on September 26, 1995, respectively.
