~ The voice when the CCS is selected in the Campaign mode. |
The Commonwealth of Collective States is one of the factions in Artistic Forces.
Description[]

The CCS is an organization made of the alliance that consists of the 12 post-Soviet countries: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, and Turkmenistan, with Russia being its dominant leader. To keep the existence of their respective countries and survive through the other planet, they cooperate with the people from Animatopia as the humanity itself. Their military doctrine revolved around the concept of superior firepower, ground supremacy, numerical superiority of swarming thousand of soldiers of the post-Soviet military forces and reliance on highly advanced but conventionally based technologies, using primarily on heavily armored divisions. However, they were known for employing cheap infantry in the role of armor support. In addition, their military arsenal has involved radiological and electronic warfare, and obtained a huge variety of military weapons, vehicles, aircraft and vessels that are purchased via the post-Soviet and Russian supplementary markets to keep the advantages of their military doctrine going, including nuclear weapons.

Strategy[]
The Commonwealth of Collective States (CCS) is a powerful, militarized alliance of the 12 post-Soviet states, with Russia as its dominant leader. As one of the major factions in Artistic Forces, the CCS represents a brutal, overwhelming war machine that combines numerical superiority, heavy firepower, and conventional but advanced warfare tactics. Their strategy revolves around sheer strength, mass mobilization, and relentless assaults, making them a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
Tactics[]
Overwhelming Force – The Hammer & Anvil Approach[]
- The CCS relies on overwhelming firepower and brute strength, crushing enemy defenses through massive tank charges, artillery bombardment, and infantry waves.
- Tanks and mechanized infantry form the backbone of their military, with support from artillery and airstrikes.
2. Wave Tactics – Infantry Swarm[]
- While their basic infantry is disposable, their numbers ensure a relentless advance.
- Infantry swarms overwhelm enemy positions, allowing tanks and vehicles to advance with minimal resistance.
- Cheap conscripts serve as cannon fodder, absorbing enemy fire while more valuable units move into position.
3. Siege & Saturation Warfare[]
- The CCS excels in siege tactics, utilizing mass artillery bombardments and missile strikes to weaken defenses.
- Long-range MLRS, howitzers, and airstrikes soften enemy lines before armored divisions roll in.
- Electronic and radiological warfare can disrupt enemy coordination and render areas dangerous.
4. Nuclear & Radiological Warfare – Endgame Destruction[]
- In prolonged battles, the CCS has access to nuclear weapons, EMP strikes, and radiation-based attacks.
- These weapons are used strategically to wipe out enemy strongholds and cripple infrastructure.
The Commonwealth of Collective States is a powerful, brutal faction that relies on sheer numbers, superior firepower, and heavy armor to overwhelm opponents. Their strategy is simple: destroy everything in their path with a relentless, unbreakable war machine.
However, their reliance on brute force and lack of precision means that faster, more technologically advanced factions can exploit their weaknesses. Still, in the right hands, the CCS can dominate the battlefield through sheer destruction and overwhelming numbers.
Technological level[]
The CCS combines traditional Soviet and post-Soviet military technology with modern advancements, creating a powerful but conventional force.
1. Tanks & Armored Vehicles:[]
- T-90, Armata, and upgraded Soviet-era tanks form the CCS’s main battle tank divisions.
- BMPs and BTRs provide infantry mobility, while self-propelled howitzers offer fire support.
2. Artillery & Missile Systems:[]
- The CCS relies heavily on artillery and missile-based warfare, fielding:
- BM-30 Smerch MLRS (multiple launch rocket system)
- 2S7 Pion heavy artillery
- Iskander ballistic missiles for tactical strikes
3. Air Force & Aircraft:[]
- The CCS uses a mix of modern and older aircraft, including:
- Su-35 & MiG-29 for air superiority
- Su-25 & Su-34 for ground attacks
- Mi-24 Hind as a flying tank for troop deployment and fire support
[]
- CCS naval power is centered around missile cruisers, submarines, and aircraft carriers, with nuclear-powered submarines serving as strategic deterrents.
5. Special Weapons & Electronic Warfare:[]
- Radiological weapons (dirty bombs, radiation-based denial tactics).
- EMP and cyber warfare to disrupt enemy electronics.
- Tactical nuclear warheads for total battlefield destruction.

Sub-factions[]
The CCS has only 2 sub-factions: the winter branch of the Siberian Division and the manufacturing branch of the Makers' Guild.
Siberian Division[]
An elite corps formed from the men and women of Siberia, and similar frozen tundra, the Siberian Division is a group of specialists in winter warfare, and has devices to turn any battlefield they're in into a frozen wasteland otherwise, using the snow to hide and rapidly move while trespassers are weakened and slowed by general winter, before the Division charges in and finishes them off with their flame weaponry.
Makers' Guild[]
Foiling the quote of one of their more infamous ruler's "quantity has a quality all its own", the Makers' Guild uses their homeland's vast resources and industrial complex to forge a near limitless supply of shells and artillery pieces, using their factories to churn out more numerous, if weaker and/or inaccurate, swarms of unmanned vehicles and artillery, blotting out the skies with a rain of explosive shells. And recycling the wreckage on both sides to rebuild their forces all over again.

Factional theme[]
The CCS would likely have a musical theme that reflects its post-Soviet, militaristic, and industrial nature, blending powerful orchestration, heavy percussion, and Slavic choral elements. The music would evoke a sense of iron-fisted strength, resilience, and nationalism, emphasizing the faction’s massive firepower, mechanized warfare, and cold determination. Some of these tracks have choruses and lyrics in Russian, sung by the choir.

Trivia[]
- The CCS is based off the former Soviet Union, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), with Russia being its dominant and factional leader.
- Although this faction is multilingual like the ESU, most of its units and the announcer himself speak in Russian accent because Russian is officially used as their working language.
- The gameplay of this faction is based on the Soviets from the Command & Conquer: Red Alert universe, Russia in Command & Conquer: Generals mods (specifically Rise of the Reds and End of Days), Consortium from Act of War, and the Soviet Union from Axis & Allies and Company of Heroes.
- The CCS is one of the few factions that only has some factional theme songs with lyrics in their respective languages, the other ones are the Josei Guntai and Yami Musume. However, the only difference is the Russian language, used for lyrics and choruses of some of these theme songs.
