~ Yet another mantra of the ADA and the possible Latin translation and an enhanced version of the de facto and traditional motto of the United States from its early national history
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
~ Pledge of Allegiance of the USA

The Alliance to Defend and Restore the United States of America, also referred to as the American Alliance, the United States Alliance, United States State Defense Alliance, Alliance to Defend and Restore America, Alliance to Defend and Restore the United States, the Allied Defenders of America, the United States' American Defense Alliance, the United States Defense Alliance, the State Defense of America, or simply the American Defense Alliance, is one of the factions in Artistic Forces.

Description[]

Advanced-combat-helmet

Dominantly led by their homeland known as the United States of America, organized around the country and its territories, supported by the United States Military, the CIA, and the government, and fashioned into a military and civil alliance, the patriotic and loyal American Defense Alliance is technologically advanced faction of humanity that arose to skillfully fight with a combination of highly technological tactics, superior firepower, expeditionary warfare, and a large, versatile, powerful arsenal of ground, air and naval units. Its military power relies on skill, mobility, and advanced technology to usefully beat its enemies and their tactics with their survival skills. In addition to its organization, it probably consists of real and true Americans, including—but not limited to—patriots, pro-USA supporters and revolutionaries, the US military forces, military contractors, and other countrywide/nationwide loyalists that are strongly united (except separatists/secessionists, xenophobes/nationalists, rebels, political corruptors, and traitors as problematic threats to their country as a whole) and supplied their arsenals to bring their organization and nation to life. Its arsenal of military weapons and equipment is mostly American, but some of them are imported from Great Britain, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and South Africa.

In order to promote the restoration of the USA with the constitutionally perfect American Union, consisting of states that are already and originally admitted to the wholly one and only country as it constitutionally requires them despite rising calls for state secession since its independence from the monarchial but oppressive British Empire, and protect and preserve the real freedom, strength, resilience, power, security, defense, peace, justice, prosperity, liberty, and unity of all Americans, including loyalists and patriots, across their home country from the Authoritarian Empire as well as the separatists/secessionists, xenophobes (including the territorial nationalists), political corruptors, rebels and traitors with their sentiments, causing social, political, ideological, economical and national problems countrywide, including the ideological, social, political and cultural divisions or divisiveness (just like in the American Civil War), the ADA also has a political structure that inspires the US Constitution and American ideological values like liberty, capitalism, patriotism, loyalism, defense, security and prosperity to save, preserve, protect, and defend the whole country and its moral heart and keep the peace, justice, existence, and survival under the American democracy accordingly as a possible solution to every problem in their homeland, including territorial nationalisms, deeply social and political divisiveness, partisan polarization, and political corruptions, which are mostly and severely bad for citizens themselves in America. In times like this, they describe and view their enemies as the "real foreign villains", especially the Empire itself.

Like the United Nations itself, as the main aim of the ADA, this will also prevent future American civil wars or further economical and political crises, including threats of political and social violence, political corruptions, economical catastrophes, political and economical troubles and turmoil, to keep America restored and free to survive as one existed country from extinction as if the Union was about to collapse as a form of disunion that makes America an imperfect Union ever since the end of the American Civil War, which lasted from 1861 to 1865 as the darkest era in American history and a bloody yet erupted armed conflict (with slavery as its central role), including national divorce, had resolved many issues as the U.S. Constitution legally makes no provision for the secession of several regions and states, including Texas, California, Alaska, Vermont, and New Hampshire, and both Congress and the federal government, including legal scholars, do not allow them to unitarily escape when the 1869 court case known as Texas v. White, which took 4 years after the Civil War, had decisively ruled out in place and constitutionally proved it, including several enactments. This makes an all-American faction respectfully loyal to the US Constitution.

History[]

Main article: Military history of the United States in Wikipedia

Ever since the country's independence from the oppressive British Empire following the American Revolutionary War on July 4, 1776, America has faced many social and political issues, such as secessionist/separatist sentiments in states/regions, deeply divided social, cultural, political and economical catastrophes, cultural and political divisiveness and differences, corruption, ideological turmoil, Americanophobic xenophobia, and possible future American civil wars, for many years and was looking for an organization that responds to deal with these nationwide problems and functions just like the international organization known as the United Nations. So the country has been defiantly needed its national and patriotic heroes to form a nationwide civil and military alliance, which is an American counterpart of U.N. and would consist of the United States Armed Forces (US Army, US Navy, US Marines, US Air Force, US Coastal Guard, and the National Guards), the CIA, and the US government, that constitutionally and socially keeps the country free, renewed, and restored in response to these countrywide issues: the separatist/secessionist, xenophobic, anarchical, rebellious and traitorous sentiments, bipartisan polarization, political turmoil, and even the imperially growing occupation of the country under the Totalitarian Empire, which are socially, culturally, economically, and politically required to be stopped at all costs by removing them from power in order to preserve, defend, protect, and save the entire country itself from extinction as much as for their survival and existence.

This organization is very similar to the United Nations, which stops the possible future global wars around the world, the social and political structure of the ADA is constitutionally provisioned and inspired by the US Constitution and other American ideological values, which include liberty, centrism (real freedom), freedom, and unity, and it is formed to mainly aim the possibilities of promoting the restoration, freedom, resilience, defense, security, peace, prosperity, justice, and unity of all Americans, plus patriots and loyalists, and bringing their country to life by their hands under the American democracy as well as it constitutionally needs most parts of a perfect Union with all originally admitted states that started from American self-determination as "True America", and eventually stop the unlikely American civil wars and other economical and political crises and troubles like political divisiveness, economical catastrophe, and corruption by protecting, preserving, defending, saving and liberating America as a whole from the incidental yet troublesome, traitorous and revolutionary sentiments, caused by separatists/secessionists, anarchists, rebels, traitors, and even xenophobes, who are politically, economically and socially disgrace to their country, rejecting extremism, ideologically imposing centrism as a form of peace between the left and the right for reducing partisan polarization and political differences and divisiveness as well as all sides, and ruling out against them. When it comes to the imperial occupation of America by the Empire, the ADA also sets out the defense of their country to free themselves from the control by their enemies and put the an end to it.

Strategy[]

The USA-formed ADA is a technologically advanced, cutting-edged all-American faction emphasizing quality over quantity with an arsenal of specialized units such as Snipers and ADSs and versatile multipurpose units like Humvees, General Purpose APCs, and Vipers. This versatility carries on into a match with competent defenses and units, including infantry, drones, vehicles, aircraft, and vessels.

With a skillful combination of highly technological tactics, superior firepower, expeditionary warfare, and a large, versatile, powerful arsenal of ground, air and naval units at their side, the ADA also relies on skill, mobility, and advanced technology, including electronic warfare, and can utilize a battleplan system, allowing one to amplify a certain element of their forces; be it range, damage or armor. Thus the ADA is always ready for any combat situations - be it against the opposing factions, such as the dominantly girlish Josei Guntai, the mutationally insidious Mutant Horde, the sneaky but revolutionary IMC, the devious Militant Insurgents, the oppressively brutish Totalitarian Empire, the stealthy Possessed, the technologically defensive RSSDF, and even the tank-heavy CCS.

The ADA also possesses highly technological laser weapons in their arsenal. These lasers are an important part of the American arsenal as it can defend incoming ballistic projectile such as missiles or rockets, as a PDL (Point Defense Laser); or as a direct weapon, like the ones used on the Laser Humvees.

Also of important note is the versatility and efficiency of the American air power when fielded effectively. From attack helicopters to bombers and aerial transports, the ADA can bring a lot of air assets to a battle. Upgrades are available for purchase that specifically improve these aircraft.

However, these units are either expensive or cheap than their counterparts, thus they must be managed properly. Losing one or more of these is a heavy blow to the ADA.

Tactics[]

The ADA mainly emphasizes highly advanced, but often experimental, technology with precise targeting and well trained infantry, and even superior firepower. As an American faction, most of its military assets are based on real-world American military hardware, including weapons, vehicles, aircraft, and even vessels in addition to their sophisticated technology. This faction boasts a comprehensive and technologically advanced arsenal, encompassing a wide range of infantry units, vehicles, aircraft, and naval vessels.

For a form of combined arms, it strategically commands a powerfully joint American military with 4 branches: Army, which includes battle tanks, IFVs, armored cars, all-terrain vehicles, highly mobile vehicles, and even helicopters, Navy, which includes patrol boats, frigates, destroyers, cruisers, submarines, stealth ships, and aircraft carriers, Marine Corps, which includes amphibious vehicles, and Air Force, which includes the multirole fighters, air superiority fighters, stealth aircraft, and bombers. Its factional superweapon of choice, the ICBM Silo, allows for more firepower with a radius of a destructively devastating nuclear blast from the nuclear-powered, intercontinental ballistic missile known as the LGM-35 Sentinel or the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD).

With a vast amount of intelligence-gathering resources available, ADA commanders are scarcely seen making any blundering errors when engaging the enemy, regularly picking the correct weak spots as indicated by their satellite scans.

Despite being more expensive than any of their counterparts, most ADA units are of high quality and its strategic emphasis on advanced technology, precision weaponry, and versatile units ensures a formidable presence across all theaters of the battlefield. While their high technology greatly augments the fighting capabilities of the ADA, it comes at very high costs, necessitating careful management to maintain operational effectiveness. This, combined with their slow economy, forces them to field a smaller and more specialized Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Space Force.

Technological level[]

The technological level of the ADA is obviously advanced due to the use of proven high-tech weaponry that can outpower, outclass and out-tech the other factions.

Some technologies and firepower used by the ADA:

  1. Advanced superweapons
  2. Superior firepower
  3. Field generators, nuclear reactors, and other technologically advanced reactors
  4. Advanced army
  5. Advanced navy
  6. Advanced air force
  7. Advanced marine corps
  8. Air superiority
  9. Ground superiority

  15. Intelligence
  16. Advanced Defenses
  17. Unmanned combat systems

Veterancy ranks[]

The ADA has veterancy levels of each unit based on those ranks of the respective branches of the United States Armed Forces. However, each hero unit has static unique rank or just a veterancy rank.

Veterancy rank Army/Marine Corps/Space Force rank Navy rank Air Force rank
None Private Seaman/Seawoman Airman/Airwoman
Veteran Corporal Petty Officer Senior Airman/Airwoman
Elite Sergeant Chief Petty Officer Sergeant
Epic Lieutenant/Captain Lieutenant Lieutenant/Captain
Heroic Major/Colonel Lieutenant Commander/Captain Major/Colonel

Sub-factions[]

The ADA has four sub-factions: the Combined Joint Marine Corps with the emphasis of amphibious and expeditionary warfare in supportive cooperation with the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coastal Guard, fusing these military branches together into one, the classically modern and contemporary Retro American Defense Alliance, the top-secret Task Force Command, and the technologically futuristic Future Force Command.

Combined Joint Marine Corps[]

Together with the support of the 5 branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and their multiple military operations, the American ad hoc maritime land service sub-faction known as the ADA Combined Joint Marine Corps (CJMC) utilizes amphibious and expeditionary tactics within the superiority of the American regular military coalition as a form of combined arms and joint warfare.

Retro American Defense Alliance[]

With the supportive help of the American military veterans from the 1990s onwards, including the Global War on Terror, the Retro American Defense Alliance (RADA) is a contemporarily classical and modern-day sub-faction that relies on classical but modern American military assets, replacing their successors like AMPVs, Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle prototypes, and B-21 Raiders, to fight alongside their futuristic counterparts.

Task Force Command[]

Named after the Combined Joint Task Force, USSOCOM, and the Task Force Talon, just like the CJMC, the top-secret American military branch of the ADA known as the Task Force Command (TFC) is made up in cooperation with the 6 supportive branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. Its military personnel involves American special operations, equips with cutting-edge weapons and combat equipment, and trades most of the ADA defensive equipment and artillery for ferociously stronger, close-ranged, weaponry, favoring aggressive, CQC assaults support by their national air force. The TFC also utilizes such tactics that emphasize speed and flexibility along with firepower.

Future Force Command[]

With a direct support of the 5 branches of the U.S. Military, the Future Force Command (FFC), originally modeled after the U.S. Space Force and other futuristic U.S. military programs, such as the cancelled Future Force Warrior, relies on space-influenced, futuristic warfare related to those said programs, and every military personnel of this sub-faction is equipped with futuristic American military assets, including lasers, bodysuits, drones, and even improved satellites.

Trivia[]

  • The ADA, along with its aesthetics, is heavily based on and modeled after the United States of America, with its armed forces including US Army, US Air Force, US Navy and US Marine Corps. This also adds many of America's other military and civil alliances.
    • Like Russia being the dominant leader of the CCS, the USA primarily became dominant as the one and only factional country of the ADA.
    • The ADA's arsenal of military assets, including weapons, drones, vehicles, aircraft and vessels, are all based on the US Armed Forces and other American inventions, even though some of them are the exports from other countries like Italy, Sweden, Great Britain, Austria, Germany and South Africa.
  • The gameplay of the ADA is inspired by the USA from Command & Conquer: Generals (including Rise of the Reds and Contra mods), Act of War, Act of Aggression, Call to Arms, and Company of Heroes, Task Force Talon from Act of War, Allies from the Command & Conquer: Red Alert universe, Survivors from the KKND series, the GDI from the Command & Conquer series, the Global Defense Forces from Tempest Rising, and Terran from the StarCraft series.
  • In an early draft of the development of Artistic Forces, the ADA is originally and conceptually a NATO-influenced faction known as the State Defense Alliance (SDA), but has later been changed into an American faction as its proper replacement due to the fact that their units and weapons are based on real-world modern and experimental military assets of the United States Armed Forces, including some American technological inventions, and prevented the wrongful obstruction and insertion with Canada, which leads to the creation of the Royal Canadian Federal Force (RCFF) and is really not allowed because it disdains the use of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and does not fit to the American-themed faction like this since the ADA is considered all-American, but later excluded and banned from this alliance and separately transferred to the RCFF as the all-Canadian counterpart of the ADA, with one of its sub-factions known as the Canadian Assault Expedition (CAE), and one of the eleven downloadable factions to avoid cultural confusion between two North American countries instead. Also, American and Canadian accents are culturally different, and aside from English, French is one of the two official languages of Canada instead due to the likes of Quebec and other Francophone minorities countrywide since it was once called New France, which began with Jacques Cartier's exploration of Canada, and the government of Canada is officially considered the federal parliamentary constitutional monarchy, while the US government is federal presidential constitutional republic. Unlike the USA, whose possessively use nuclear weapons for strengthening their national armed forces and other defensive measures as the all-American faction like ADA ever since their involvement during Cold War, there is a fact that Canada has no nuclear weapons stored in many places as of 1984 since their country has entirely disarmed and banned those in 1970 via the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT), followed by the complete ban of all biological weapons by signing and ratifying the Biological Weapons Convention on September 18, 1972, and the disarmament of chemical weapons via the ratification of the Chemical Weapons Convention on September 26, 1995. So this will importantly prevent Axl Jet Baños, the lead creator and manager of this project, from aggressively and furiously getting angry by adding Canada and CAE in it.
    • The factional emblem of the ADA is an influence of the NATO and American (Old Glory) flags and Captain America's shield, making it a symbol of American culture.
    • Most units of the ADA, excluding the drones and dogs, speak in any accents of American English, such as the Texan and Southern American accents.
    • The Alliance to Defend and Restore the United States of America, one of the official names of the ADA, is a cultural reference to the Alliance to Restore the Republic, simply known as the Rebel Alliance, from the Star Wars universe.
      • The ADA is formed to promote the restoration, freedom, security, defense, peace, justice, prosperity, and unity of all Americans, including patriots and loyalists, and defend the perfect American Union to liberate and save the whole nation by removing the authoritative Empire, the secessionists/separatists, xenophobes, rebels and traitors from power, while the Rebel Alliance seeks to overthrow the oppressive entity known as the Galactic Empire and establish a New Republic via the restoration of the former Galactic Republic in the galaxy. Both of these two also share their accent, which is the same as they both sound American.
    • For reference, the similar connections between the ADA and the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) from the Command & Conquer series are that they are both peacekeeping factions, backed by the United States of America and the United Nations, respectively. Also, they are constitutionally and legally enacted by the acts (the United States Defense Act and the United Nations Global Defense Act, respectively) in order to found themselves into organizations, fight for their kindreds (America and the world, respectively), and save their territories from the extinctions of their kinds (the Americans and humanity, respectively) as a form of defense and protection (the ADA is intended to defiantly and constitutionally defend, protect, and save the USA from the world-conquering Empire, including xenophobes, secessionist/separatist movements, rebels and traitors, while the GDI pursues the goal of preserving world order by defeating the Brotherhood of Nod, a faction that epitomizes global terrorism, becoming the world government, and saving the world from the spread of Tiberium, causing human extinction). Once the goals are achieved in the end, they both eventually restore their kinds (the USA and humankind, respectively) as well as their governments (the U.S. government and the world government, respectively) under the American democracy.
      • Both the ADA and the GDI have full versions of their respective names: the United States' American Defense Alliance and the United Nations' Global Defense Initiative.
      • Both have the same headquarters as they are located in Washington D.C., the national capital of the United States of America. However, for the GDI, their headquarters is moved to GDSS Philadelphia, which is constructed prior to the events of Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun.
      • Like the United Nations, which is formed to prevent possible future wars in the world and inspired the GDI, the ADA is formed to prevent future American civil wars, political corruption, and other political and economical problems that cause troubles and crises, and promote the real freedom, power, security, defense, peace, justice, prosperity, and unity of all Americans and the restoration of the United States of America with the constitutionally perfect union as well as setting America free, restored, defended and protected from the separatist/secessionist, rebellious, traitorous, and anarchical sentiments, including the Empire itself.
    • One of its factional aliases known as the Real American Heroes is a reference to the subtitle of the G.I. Joe franchise.
