Arc System Works vs Capcom is a tag-team crossover fighting game developed by Capcom.

Story[]

The Boundary.

A woman named I-No appears in a different reality in an attempt to keep discovering her true self, only for her to know she is capable to enter not only different worlds, but to also enter places she's not supposed to be in.

Using her deity powers, I-No manipulates reality at her own will, and such actions would eventually caught the attention of the god of destruction Susanoo and the Shinigami Jedah Dohma, who, interested in her capabilities, offered her to join her on her plans.

Juri Han, who happens to get involved into this mess and interested on I-No's scheme, join forces with the trio, but, every one of them has another purpose on which involves they could eventually betray each other.

For her little amusement, I-No summons many warriors to her new world with the sole purpose to see them killing each other in battle, but that hatred would turn into teamwork when a wyvern known as Rathalos, has been unleashed across the multiverse to anihilate every one of them and expand his domains.

Gameplay[]

This game is a tag team fighter with mechanics from previous Capcom Versus titles such as Marvel vs Capcom or Tatsunoko vs Capcom, most notoriously from the latter. Each player typically has a team of two characters, and players can switch their characters at any time, and even perform powerful tag team moves involving both team members' special moves (however, this uses up a special bars for each move).

The controls varies from simple to classic in a fashion similar to Street Fighter 6, with an special Level 3 mechanic that ressembles the Instant Kills and Astral Heats from Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series respectively, which can be activated if only one member of the team remains in the battle.
