In 2018, Sony Pictures Television announced that a television series based on the games is in production, being set to premiere on TBD 2019.

In 2016, Matthew Vaughn and Guillermo del Toro decided to work together to make a darker but still comedic live-action adaption of the games. The film is set to be released by Columbia Pictures on TBD.
