But still, Beware that it is just idea purposed, since this titles are not truly means to end the franchise but led to another beginning of it's possible spiritual and reboot sequel.
.hack//ReCODE -Infinity God of the World- is the direct-sequel to .hack//Link 2 and continuation from .hack//Versus -Thanatos Report- which showcases a showdown conclusion between Hackers against MAMA organization and the final of Sora Yuuki's story as the protagonist, available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2, and Microsoft Windows (Steam).
The story continues on Kite (Sora Yuuki) along with fellows of Hackers and NABOS alliance now on their race to find Origin chips which contains Aura's data inside and Sora's friend, Kakeru Tanaka. Now MAMA's reign has come reach on a turning point, even so the survivor still on it's race to obtained the chips by the hand of Kakeru. But there are third-party groups that non-related either to MAMA or hackers trying to targeting the chips on different purpose.
The Infinity God of the World will had downloadable contents which featured a new episodes, additional cutscenes, new costumes, equipments, and more bonuses.
Synopsis[]
A months after the events of .hack//Link 2 with the news reported that David Steinberg's body has been found along with Eleanor whose a new leader of MAMA organization. Her death has caused the organization of MAMA begin on turning points and right now facing the illegal challenges for the illegal actions that purposely brought against the world's order, but the remnants of MAMA begin their act vigilantly knowing that The Origin Chips are still remain in the real world and begin it's search very deeply at all cost and without any means neccessary.
Although this causing their battle are not over yet, As Origin chip that contains Aura kept by David has gone missing at crime scene, and they begin to learn that it is in the hands of Sora Yuuki's friend, Kakeru Tanaka whose now being reportedly missing and revealed that been trapped into the online game along with the chip, in order to avoid another Immortal Dusk, Sora and Tokio along with Sakuya work together to find Kakeru and the chips.
As the hackers and MAMA begin their race to obtaining Origin chip, However, there's third-party group that neither on both side trying to get their hands for a chip and no one or even MAMA aware about it, they responsible for Kakeru's missing into the online world, and their intention are yet to be known, but the feared that such as ENTIES who had no affliation with both of them causing mayhem and uncontrollable situation.
Now the question is, if it's not MAMA who trying to brought another mayhem, but a third-party group and what was their purpose to using Aura? Everything become messed up at this point of no resolve, except fighting against neither side for the right thing to save Kakeru and Aura.
